On April 10, 2011, Charlotte Lee, a woman from the United States, snagged the Guinness World Record for having the largest collection of rubber ducks. She started collecting them in 1996 and has 5,631 in total. She’s so serious about her collection that she even dedicated a whole room to them!

The Longest Time Spinning a Basketball on a Toothbrush

Ali Behboodifar, a man from Iran, spun a basketball on a toothbrush for a total of 1 minute, 47 seconds, and 4 milliseconds! This earned him the Guinness World Record holder for the longest duration of spinning a basketball on a toothbrush on April 18, 2022.

The Fastest Time to Type Using the Nose

Typing with your hands and fingers is already hard, so imagine how hard it would be to type with your nose! Well, this was no problem for Davinder Singh, a man from New Delhi, India. He established the world record for the fastest typing time using the nose last August 20, 2017. It only took him 40.19 seconds to type a 103-character text.

Lee Redmond previously had the title for the longest fingernails, measuring a total of 28 feet and 4.5 inches. However, she was beaten by Diana Armstrong on March 13, 2022. Diana’s nails measured at a whopping 42 feet and 10.4 inches!

Carrie Swidecki played a Just Dance 2015 marathon for 138 hours and 34 seconds. This earned her the record holder for the longest videogame marathon ever. She achieved this feat at Otto’s Video Games and More in Bakersfield, California, last July 17, 2015.

Have you ever seen a parrot riding a scooter? Well, Chico, a Triton cockatoo from Bulgaria, did more than just that! While on set for Lo Show Dei Record, he set the record for the fastest five meters on a scooter by a parrot—14.58 seconds! The record was finalized on February 15, 2022.

However, David Rush embedded himself in history when he blew a pea for 84 feet and 11 inches, or 25.89 meters, on October 8, 2022. The Guinness World Records notes, “David attempted this record to promote STEM education and to reclaim the title since he had previously achieved this record title before.”

Garry Turner is able to stretch his stomach’s skin up to 15.8 centimeters or 6.25 inches, primarily because of a rare medical condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. The National Institutes of Health explains, “Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a group of hereditary connective tissue disorders that manifests clinically with skin hyperelasticity, hypermobility of joints, atrophic scarring, and fragility of blood vessels.”

Nick Stoeberl, a man from Salinas, California, has the title of the world’s longest tongue. His tongue measures 10.1 centimeters or 3.97 inches, which is long enough to hold five pieces of ring donuts! His record was first bestowed and confirmed on November 27, 2012.

The Longest Time Balancing on One Foot

On May 25, 1997, the record for the longest duration of balancing on one foot was set. This record was given to Suresh Arulanantham Joachim, a Canadian born in Sri Lanka. He balanced on one foot for 76 hours and 40 minutes!

Members of the ‘Paddle KC Paddling Club’ accompanied him to witness his attempt.”

Jacob Chandler completed this task in only 2 minutes, 8 seconds, and 6 milliseconds! In an interview with Guinness World Records, he said, “By attempting this record, I can show my son anything is possible if you work hard enough at it.”
